| Project: Book publication When: Publication beginning of 2010. First artists submissions will be requested as soon as we have confirmed 50 participating artists. Description: Preferrably 100 artists present each an animal artwork. Each artist will be invited to submit a high quality digital image and a short written statement on this topic. There will be one page for each artist, including the artists name, personal website, the artwork image and the written statement. The written statement should express the artist's personal thought on animal rights and it may be in a language of the artist's choice. One image for each artist, of his/her own choice. The design of each page is done by the editors as it would be too time consuming having each artist designing the pages. Book format: 18 x 18 cm Printing will be done on the internet publishing company www.blurb.com and each participating artist will be able to purchase their copies at a net price. The selection of artists is done by the book editors and the decision is with the editors on what works of art will be selected in the final draft. The plan is still to include all invited artists. Submitted artwork may be refused by the editors should the quality of the image be low. Editors are: Financing: no artists fees are required. All costs and labour are covered by animalrespect.org ISBN: The book will have an ISBN number which makes it possible to place it in libraries and bookstores. No free samples will be given to the participating artists as this would be too costly. The book will be for sale via this website. There will be no profit made from the sales of this book. No money will be paid to participating artists or to the editors. Type of artwork: paintings, drawings, sculptors, photography. Marketing: The release of the book will be made public through a pressrelease and a release party in Skogås, Sweden. Animal rights groups will be contacted about the book. Help wanted: Help in making this book known will be appreciated.
